EXCERCISE

Life with fibromyalgia can be tough. There’s the fatigue, the aches and the long list of ‘to do’s each day just to keep up. And then you have to find time for exercise. Research suggests that exercise is one of the keys to pain management with fibromyalgia. Depending on your current fitness level, you might want to start by just taking a short walk 3 to 4 times a week and gradually work your way up.

When it comes to exercise, swimming may also be a great place to start. Warm water has a soothing effect on muscles and joints and may make exercise less painful.

At Heart, Faith & Strength, we understand what it is like to live with Fibromyalgia. We are here with you. Our mission is to help those who suffer from fibromyalgia get support, encouragement, wellness coaching, and hope together.
